realtime, formally known as Realtime Technologies, was founded in 2013, bravely seizing on the opportunity to help solve the increasing struggle by wireless retail operators to meet rising customer expectations and impatience with complexity at point of sale and in-store. Organic customer growth was slowing, churn and customer complaints were rising.

With an absence of customizable, enterprise-grade point-of-sale software capable of dramatically reducing store transaction times and complexity, realtime stepped up with their proprietary RTPOS SaaS platform to help solve one of the industry’s greatest challenges.

realtime was quickly able to provide some of America’s largest telecom operators and their retail stores a cost-effective solution at scale that delivered consistent, repeatable, and superior customer experiences for their frontline teams and their customers.
Arriving as the trusted partner to Fortune 100's
The company’s place as a preferred and exclusive software IT vendor serving Fortune 100 telecom operators was secured. With a unique focus on customizable POS and sales support technology for the underserved indirect and prepaid channels in wireless retail, realtime quickly became the company of choice for thousands of dealer stores across America.

Expanding into Fintech
Becoming a one-stop shop for wireless retailers
In 2022, in response to our largest customers looking for further efficiencies in the customer experience delivered by wireless retail stores, realtime acquired InComm Agent Solutions (IAS) from InComm Payments, a long-standing payment processing platform. This acquisition not only catapulted the company into the payments and fintech industry as a credible new innovator, it also enabled a one-stop e-commerce solution to be delivered to our customers. The frontline was now empowered with a formidable toolkit of point-of-sale, business intelligence, sales support, and payments technology to handle the majority of customer needs in a retail store environment
